The interview

What do you think about the books in the market, nowadays?
There are many people who still love reading books yet many people shift their reading habits from paper to digital books such as Kindles (Amazon), tablets and eBooks because it's more convenient.

If you had an opportunity to create a travel book, what method do you prefer to do? E-book, book, apps or etc. why?
E-book is the cheapest and simplest way to do a digital book because it can be read across platforms. However, creating an application would be more flexible and it is possible to have special creativity. With unlimited budget, the creative way might be to produce an actual paper book able to interact with mobile/tablet applications using Augmented Reality (AR) technology

When you create or design an application, what is your thinking behind it?
1. Target audience, who is the one that going to read this book such as men, women, teenage, young adult or 2-5 years old kids.
2. Pick platform that match with the target
3. Design application based on target behavior (included suitable user interface, user experience and graphic)

My project is about travel book with an application, could you suggest something about this?
5 W’s, 1 H
Who - Who is it for?
What - What platform should be used?
Where - Where will it be launched?
When - Time of releasing application?
Why - Why the target will use this app? (Reason to believe such as it's a useful app that everyone needs to have because it comes with features that no other application can provide)
How - How to communicate or spread awareness of this application to target?
***Consumer insight is the key to success of this application, you will need to dig deep into customers’ mind to see what they need and what they want, weight the major features and minor features, find the POP (Point of parody) and POD (Point of difference).
